Programs & Events

Beresford PTA funds a number of events and programs that all students at the school benefit from.

Also provided by funding from the PTA is the schools ACADEMIC SUPPORT PROGRAM. Ms Cristina provides full time academic support (of which the PTA fund 9 hours per week) for all students as needed and directed by the teaching staff, enriching the learning experience for all students at the school.

To enable all students to have the opportunity to explore their learning in new and exciting places and have the "being there" experience the PTA help fund school buses and other expenses for students FIELD TRIPS. This helps to also keep the cost down for all families.

The PTA have a program of fun and education ASSEMBLIES for students teaching them important life skills and expanding their learning experience outside of the classroom. 

And to help build the school community and link it with the wider Beresford community the PTA sponsor several COMMUNITY BUILDING EVENTS, such as the back to school bbq and dance party. These events help bring students, parents and the community together, making Beresford Elementary the amazing place it is!

Your PTA sponsors, supports and encourages many events throughout the school year. These events help build community, bring awareness to causes, fund-raise monies to support school programs and many just for fun!
